摘要：近年来,北京会展业出现了持续高速增长的局面,特别是在"十二五"规划中,北京市更是将会展业从旅游业中单列出来,作为优先发展的重点产业纳入新的五年规划中,提出了打造"亚洲会展之都"、向国际会展中心城市迈进的宏伟目标。然而,在构建国际会展中心城市方面,与国际知名会展中心城市相比,北京在许多方面还存在着一定的差距。通过分析和对比,总结了国际知名会展中心城市的特点和构成要素,明确了北京在构建国际会展中心城市过程中存在的问题,提出了北京结合自身资源优势构建国际会展中心城市的途径。
In recent years, Beijing convention and exhibition industry is undergoing a constantly rapid growth period. Especially at the beginning of ＂the 12th five - year - plan＂ , Bei- jing separates the convention and exhibition industry from tourist industry and takes it as an important one which will be developed priority in the plan. What is more, Beijing sets an ambitious tar- get of building itself into the international convention and exhibi- tion central city. However, Beijing has still a long way to go in its construction process compared with the international famous convention and exhibition central cities. By analysis and comparison, this essay summarizes the characteristics and the key factors of the world famous convention and exhibition central cities and finds the present problems existed in Beijing. It also puts forward an effective method to build Beijing into an international convention and exhibition central city based on its advantages of resource.
