摘要:处于同个时期的戏剧家亨利克·易卜生和奥古斯特·斯特林堡虽分属不同国家,但在反现实主义道路上都有过探索。从文化背景看,北欧阴冷幽寂的自然环境赋予二者作品以沉郁之风;二位巨匠面临着同样残酷的社会现实。从戏剧发展的历史阶段看,二人同处于西方戏剧朝“反现实主义”转向的特殊时期,也对此贡献颇丰。因此,对二位巨匠的对比研究颇具意义。但过往研究者未认识到二者的相似,仅分别研究二者的戏剧风格,并且多专注于两性议题,在哲学化、宗教化解读方面有所深入。与之有别,探讨二者戏剧中共有的“梦幻人物”,有益于阐释剧作中的双重语境、双重情境以及嵌入式、交错式、环形对称式三种结构,更能够理解亨利克·易卜生与奥古斯特·斯特林堡从反现实主义走向象征主义戏剧的创造性努力。
Although Henrik Ibsen and August Strindberg lived in different countries in different ages,both of them have explored in anti-realism.From the perspective of cultural background,the cold and quiet natural environment of Northern Europe endows their works with a gloomy wind and both of these two giants faced the cruel social reality.From the perspective of the historical stage of drama,both lived in a special period when western drama was turning to“anti-realism”,and they also made great contributions to anti-realism.Therefore,the comparative study of the two giants is of great significance.However,previous researchers did not realize the similarities between them,only studied their drama style separately,and often focused on gender issues to give some in-depth philosophical and religious interpretation.In contrast,it is more significant to discuss the“dreamy characters”portrayed in these two giants'plays.By doing so,it is beneficial to explain the dual context,dual situation,and the three structures of embedded,staggered and circular symmetry in their plays,and to better understand the creative efforts of Henrik Ibsen and Auguste Sternberg from anti-realism to symbolism.
