摘要：在小说《日落公园》中,保罗·奥斯特以现实主义的笔调再现了美国在9·11事件后次贷危机下所面临的经济和社会问题。城市边缘人物们在纽约布鲁克林区日落公园建构的共通体具有开放性和包容性,呈现出共通和共在的图景,体现了法国思想家南希“无用共通体”思想中的独体和他异、外展和暴露、分享和沟通等理念。通过书写纽约大都市共通体的建构及其未完成性,作家沉痛反思了次贷危机中城市断裂的群体以及个体生存危机,展现了他们对国家机器、传统封闭理念和压迫性权威的反叛与背离。危机中的人物渴望与他者共在,但却无法实现与他者的共融,共通体的脆弱性及其最终解散反映了当代资本主义社会群体缺乏凝聚力的困境。
In his novel Sunset Park,Paul Auster uses a realistic tone to represent the social and economic problems that occurred during the post-9/11 subprime crisis.The community in the novel,represented by several urban fringe figures in Sunset Park in Brooklyn,New York City,is open and inclusive,presenting a picture of being in common and being with,and reflecting Jean-Luc Nancy's idea of the“inoperative community”in relation to singularity and alterity,exposition and exposure,and sharing and communication.By writing about the construction and the incompletion of community in New York,Auster reflects on the fractured urban group and individual survival troubles in the subprime crisis,demonstrating the characters'rebellion and deviation from the state apparatus,from closed traditional concepts,and from oppressive authority.The characters yearn to be with others,but they are unable to achieve fusion with others.The vulnerability and ultimate dissolution of the community reflect the dilemma of group cohesion in contemporary capitalist society.
