摘要:如何定义英语写作中的不达标,这是研究者未曾深入探讨的概念之一。根据认知心理学、教育心理学、社会文化学和宏观结构学的相关理论文章阐述了不达标的特点、分类和产生的原因。通过参考国外近期研究者对不达标研究的结果和作者对在大学英语写作教学中收集信息的分析得出的研究结论是不达标是一个包含了结构、社会、情感、认知和非认知诸多因素在内的复杂体系,为了能更有效地评估学生英语写作的不达标,作者提出了在英语写作教学中有成效的不达标这一评估手段的可实施性。
How to define the failure of English writing is a concept that researchers have not explored deeply. Based on the articles related to cognitive psychology theory, educational psychology theory, socio-cuhural theory and macro-structural theory, this paper reveals some characters of failure and its classifications.The paperalso exploresthe reasons why failure appears. The paper takes the recent studies on the failure investigated by overseas scholars as the reference and analyzes the data collected from the writing teaching in College English, which finds that the failure is a complex system with structural, social, affective, cognitive, and non-cognitive dimensions. In order to get better assessments of the failure of English writing, the assessment method of "productive failure" is proposed as a future possibility for English writing teaching.
