摘要:In order to meet the increasing requirements of reducing manual work intensity and improve the work efficiency in warehouse management of manufacture enterprises, advanced information technologies focus on the warehouse storage management flow. We have applied Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology in the warehouse management and developed a Management Information System system (MIS) which integrates with the data acquisition system based on RFID and Office Automation (OA) system for storage and inventory operation. The information on RFID is designed for the management purpose. Interaction between the data acquisition system based on RFID and the OA system is conducted with relational databases. The MIS is designed with Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and Lotus Domino Designer and has been tested. Results have shown that the MIS can collect and manage the stored product information automatically and work efficiently by incorporating the field operation and the senior management, and that it can provide an effective solution for RFID application and system integration in the warehouse management. ? 2015 Taylor & Francis Group, London.
