摘要：Design is the third wisdom(3) apart from science and arts, whose original meaning is to create a more reasonable way for human's survival and development. However, the modern commercial design has once become a booster to stimulate consumption and rapid economic development. In the face of the brutal status quo of the human destruction of the natural environment and resource consumption, green development is becoming the consensus of the international community in the 21st century and the trend of world development. "Industrial design methodology under green development theory" - green design represents the awakening of the spiritual values and ethics of the design. Green design can create green products to meet users' needs with systematic program of services, guide their moderate consumption, and shift the relationship between the consumer and the material from possession to enjoyment. Green development concept will separate "non-renewable resource elements" from economic growth and social development. The relationship between man and nature will be changed from "competing with heaven" to "harmony with heaven", and thus contribute to the ecological environment, consumer demand and social harmonious development.
