摘要：1948年国共东北决战进程远比毛泽东预想的短促。9月12日北宁路战役发动之时,毛泽东并不认为东北决战时机已经成熟,更没有意识到这是国共战略决战的序幕之战。按照既有设想,东北野战军应在北宁路作战结束后举兵入关,继续发挥运动战优势,消灭华北国民党军大部,之后再于1949年7月返回东北参加决战。这一“先入关再出关”设想因顾虑分兵作战、粮食运输困难、国民党军撤军等因素而被推迟。锦州战役结束后,毛泽东放弃原设想,提前实施东北决战。
The process of the Northeast Decisive Campaign between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party of China in 1948 was much shorter than Mao Zedong had anticipated.When the Beining Railway Battle started on September 12,Mao did not think that it was already the time for the decisive fight in the Northeast,nor did he realize that it was the prelude to the strategic decisive war between the KMT and the CPC.According to the preconceived assumption,after the Beining Railway Battle,the Northeast Field Army would cross the Shanhai Pass,and by means of mobile warfare,eliminate the majority of the KMT forces in North China,and then in July 1949 return to the Northeast to participate in the decisive campaign there.This plan of“First Advancing into North China and then Returning to Northeast China”was delayed due to concerns such as the dispersion of forces,grain transport difficulties,and the withdrawal of the KMT troops.After the Battle of Jinzhou,Mao gave up the original plan and went ahead with the Northeast Decisive Campaign.
