摘要:美国没有专门的特殊教育高等学校专门招收盲人,也没有盲人特殊的专业。从社区学院到正规大学,大多数高校、大多数专业都有盲人接受高等教育。信息技术对盲人在不同的专业随班就读提供了强有力的支持。我国大陆只有少数几所高等学校向盲人开放,专业领域狭窄。理想上,所有的高校、所有的专业都应当向盲人敞开平等竞争的大门,创造性地使用技术设备。高等特殊教育也应当形成“以随班就读为主体、以特殊教育学院为骨干”的格局。
There are no special higher institutions that are exclusive to blind people, nor specialty for the blind. Most universities and community colleges enroll blind students in mainstrearning majors at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Information technology plays an important role in it. There are a few colleges open to blind students in limited areas in China's Mainland. Ideally, all colleges and each specific area should be open to blind students by using technical facilities creatively so that they can compete equally with other people. Higher special education should also develop a pattern of "learning in regular class as the major part and college of special education as the backbone".
