摘要:There is a gradually rising new fluorescence spectrum peak that appears at about 578 nm in the treatment of photodynamic therapy (PDT) of port wine stain (PWS) . The new fluorescence peak spreads to 700 nm and adds additional fluorescence intensity at 624 nm, the characteristic fluorescence peak of haematoporphyrin derivative (HpD). To measure the fluorescence intensity at 624 nm of HpD, a mathematic method was employed to reduce the influence of the new peak arising at 578 nm. The time-dependent fluorescence intensity of HpD within the skin was measured. Since the hemoglobin has an absorption spectrum peak at about 578 nm, we consider that the new fluorescence peak may be caused by the decrease of blood contained in the skin with PWS during PDT treatment.
