摘要:In this paper, an unbalanced pulse-width modulation (UPWM) strategy for a semi-dual-bridge resonant converter (SDBRC) is proposed, utilizing minimizing current trajectory (MCT) control to reduce conduction loss and improve the operation efficiency of the SDBRC. Firstly, the UPWM strategy is proposed and the optimal operation mode is selected. All switches of the converter with the optimal mode can work in zero-voltage switching (ZVS), even at a voltage gain of 0.5. Next, an equivalent circuit of the converter is proposed employing the Fundamental Harmonics Approximation (FHA) approach. Furthermore, the resonant current and power formulas are derived, and MCT control is performed to minimize the resonant current. Finally, the theoretical analysis are validated through a series of simulations and experiments. ? The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.
