摘要：甘宁地区北朝石窟寺的考古调查与研究可分作三个发展阶段。第一阶段为20世纪中叶中华人民共和国成立以前的萌生期,以敦煌莫高窟的发现与研究为主,其他石窟寺有零星发现与调查;第二阶段为20世纪中叶中华人民共和国成立以后的发展期,大量石窟寺发现、窟前遗址发掘、调查资料刊布、专题研究丰富、考古学方法被广泛运用到石窟寺研究中;第三阶段为21世纪以来的提升期,现代科技手段普遍运用到石窟寺考古中,全面记录遗迹信息,编写考古报告,在研究资料细化的基础上,综合探讨甘宁地区与东部北朝石窟寺发展不平衡的关系、甘宁北朝石窟寺受到南朝和东部中心文化的影响等问题,在广度和深度上得到进一步拓展。
The academic development of archaeological survey and research on the cave temples of Northern Dynasties(420-589)in Gansu and Ningxia has three stages.The first stage is the period of germination before the founding of the People's Republic of China.It had mainly focused on discoveries and archaeological surveys in Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang.Besides,other cave temples got noticed sporadically.The second stage is the period of growth,which had started at the beginning of the founding of P.R.C.,with surveys on the newly found caves.Some sites io front of caves had been excavated.Publications of their monographic researches had become very rich.Meanwhile,archaeological methods had been widely used.The third stage is the period of promotions,which started at the beginning of the 21st century.With the use of digital technology,the recording of information of caves becomes further comprehensive,and the compilation of archaeological reports is ongoing.Based on the continuous refinement of the research data,questions like the imbalance development of cave temples at the same time in the two regions,the influences from other cultural centers,etc.,can be further solved.
