摘要：与北朝胡族统治者不断寻找其入主中原的合法性依据一样,北朝士人在面对他民族统治者建立的政权时,也在寻找自己出处的合法性依据。在此过程中,北朝士人对其“士”身份的认定,起到了重要作用,成为北朝士人认同异民族统治,并出仕异民族政权的合法性支撑。这都深刻影响到了北朝包括墓志在内的文学书写。
Just as the rulers of the Hu nationality in the Northern Dynasties constantly sought the legitimacy basis for their entry into the Central Plains,the educated professionals(shi)in the Northern Dynasties were also looking for the legitimacy basis for their origin when facing the regime established by the rulers of other nationalities.In this process,the identity of their“shi”status played an important role in the legitimacy support for the educated professionals to identify themselves with the rule of alien nationalities and to serve in government.All these profoundly influenced the literary writing in the Northern Dynasties,including the writing of epitaphs.
