摘要：塔城因其所在的地理位置而成为清代西北边疆的驻防重点,清廷在塔城市内先后兴建的两处驻防城,不但承载着维护西北边疆稳定的历史使命,也使得塔城出现了“双核并置”的城市发展格局,并主导了塔城东西向城市生长轴向的生成,同时也为塔城构建了具有可识别性的城市干道体系,从而在一定程度上影响了塔城的城市形态演变进程。
Because of its geographical location,Tacheng became the key garrison of the northwest frontier in Qing Dynasty.The two garrison cities built successively by the Qing government in Tacheng not only carried the historical mission of maintaining the stability of the frontier,but also created a dual-core juxtaposition urban development pattern,and dominated the formation of the east-west urban growth axis of Tacheng.At the same time,it also built an identifiable urban arterial street system for Tacheng,thus affecting the evolution of the urban form of Tacheng to a certain extent.
