摘要：中国近现代意义上的大学走过了100多年的历史,反观清末、民国及新中国几个不同历史时期,我们可以看到新中国的大学在取得巨大成就的同时,存在着的一系列深层次问题也日益凸显。在回顾与对比中,我们看到了民国时期大学的独特气质和魅力,了解和分析这些气质和魅力将对我们破解今天高等教育的难题大有裨益。民国大学的气质和魅力表现在有一批成就斐然的高水平大学,有一批极具时代精神和家国情怀的教育家,有潜心学术灿若星海的学术大师,当然还有学人群体浓烈的爱国情怀和影响中国历史进程的伟大爱国壮举。
Modern Chinese Universities have a more than 100-year history, looking back at the different historical periods in China, we have seen the unique temperament and charm of the Universities during the period of Republic of China, which had achieved much in a group of high level Universities, a group of educators with great spirit, have concentrated academic academic masters of brilliant stars, of course, there are great patriotic feelings to the county among the Universities.
