摘要：As a significant global mental health concern, depression has complex pathogenesis that has not been fully elucidated. The cAMP-PKA-CREB signaling pathway plays a crucial role in the physiological activities of the central nervous system. In recent years, numerous studies have demonstrated a close association between this pathway and the occurrence, development, and treatment of depression. Regulation of this signaling pathway can promote neuroprotection and enhance synaptic function, providing a highly promising new direction for the treatment of depression. This article systematically reviews the role of the cAMP-PKA-CREB signaling pathway in depression pathogenesis, its influencing factors, and related treatment strategies, aiming to provide a theoretical foundation and novel insights for further research and clinical interventions in depression.
