摘要：北京联合大学因两度奉命扩招得以诞生和发展,建校之初即开始探索发展应用型高等教育,承担多种社会服务,创办特殊高等教育,发挥地利优势,生存有道。
Beijing Union University was born and developed due to two expansions.At the beginning of its establishment,the university starts to explore the development of application-oriented higher education.It undertakes multiple social service,establishes special higher education,gives full play to its geographical advantage and explores survival ways.
