摘要：随着全球经济一体化的迅猛发展,当今世界已然形成了多元文化共生共存的社会形态。而在全球化与文化多样性并存的背景下,教育也正在经历着全球化的深刻变革。从事英语教学的教师必须具备跨文化教育能力成为了时代的需要。因此透过跨文化意识的内涵、分析大学英语教师跨文化教育能力现状及问题、进而探究大学英语教师跨文化意识培养策略,对于大学英语教师提高职业素养、增强职业竞争力大有裨益。
The rapid development of economic globalization has made the world grow into coexistence of diversified culture, un?der the context of which, education is experiencing ongoing dramatic changes on global basis. It is the need of the time for the English teachers to possess intercultural education competence. It is of great significance, therefore, to explore some strategies for cultivating teachers’intercultural education competence, via introducing the nature of intercultural awareness and analyzing the problems in English teachers’intercultural education, thus to help improve teacher’s career qualities and enhance their career competitiveness.
