摘要：In view of the relatively lagging problem in the development of China's sea transport services export, few studies have analyzed it from the perspective of improving the regional structure. This paper uses the panel data of the WTO from 2010 to 2017, and based on the extended gravity model, conducts an empirical study on the export potential of China's bilateral sea transport services. The main conclusions are as follows. First, GDP and economic freedom of both import and export parties, the physical distance, whether they have a common language, and whether there is a colonial connection will have a significant impact on the export of bilateral sea transport services. In addition to the physical distance, other variables all have a positive effect on the export of sea transport services. Second, from 2010 to 2017, China's sea transport services export to Denmark, Hong Kong, France and Germany were basically "over-traded", while the export to 4 small markets including Slovakia, Slovenia, Russia and the Czech Republic were severely "under-trade", only realized less than 40% of export potential.
