摘要：We have analyzed the requirement of the deaf who were aware of the necessity of using sign language animation to broadcast the text on the web pages. So we have designed the architecture and implemented the web-based Chinese Sign Language Broadcasting System. Some deaf participants were asked to test this system through viewing the news. They think that the system can express the meanings of text via true and accurate sign language successfully and naturally, which can be made into the plug-ins of the browser, so we hold the idea that the client can use browser to download and install the plug-ins, and browse the web effectively and independently. The evaluation of these participants shows that this system meets the initial goal of ours. ? 2009 ACM.
