摘要:本研究采取面试、问卷、口语测试等方法,比较系统地分析了影响中国学生英语口语流利的25个因素,结果表明:说英语的“机会”与“环境”是最突出的影响因素;“动机”、“听”与“目标文化的了解”的影响次之,其他因素亦与口语流利袁达程度有着密切的相关性。为此,文章分析了产生这些影响因素的主要原因,认为:不同的动机决定不同行为中的时间分配,从而产生不同的效果;“动机”与“环境”作为影响中国学生英语口语流利表达的重要变量对提高中国学生口语流利表达的能力起着加速器的作用;对“目标文化的了解”缺乏是中国学生语言交流过程中重要的滞障之一。文章进而从教学理念的更新、教学方法的改革、教学内容的适易度与主体性教学相结合等方面提出了提高学生英语口语流利表达能力的教学对策与建议。
With the help of interviews, a questionnaire and an oral test, on a category basis, within each category and in five different groups of candidates, the research examines the significance of 25 variables to oral fluency. The findings show that chances of speaking English and the environment are the prominent factors affecting the Chinese students' oral fluency while the motives, listening and understanding of the target culture are the secondary factors and the rest have the intercorrelation close to oral fluency as well. Therefore, the reasons for the critical factors have been analyzed in this paper, which suggests that different motives decide the timing with different effects. The motives and the environment as the critical variables influencing Chinese students' oral fluency have an extraordinary impact on improving oral fluency. Teaching strategies and suggestions for improving oral fluency, based on the renovation of teaching concepts, the reforms of teaching methods, have been put forward so as to improve Chinese students' oral fluency in English.
