摘要:The past three decades has seen an increasing interest in the effective ways in which learners approach language learning. Researchers hold the assumption that given effective learning strategies, ineffective learners could be in a better position to solve their problems in language learning. A research in this field tries to illustrate the relationship between college students' learning strategies and EFL reading achievements. This study was measured by Pearson statistical analysis and restated that there are indeed differences between successful learners and less successful learners in terms of strategy use. There is also a strong relationship between reading strategies used by readers and proficiency level. The correlations between general strategies and local strategies, the average value of learning strategies and achievements, the average value of learning strategies and reading scores, are significantly related. The research also suggested some guidelines for the teachers to help improve learning and teaching.
