摘要:With the data service exploding, it gives increasing demand on network broadband, Wavelength Division Multiplex (WDM) is introduced into the communication networks, which can solve the broadband problem. This paper presents a novel technology to construct the hybrid model architecture for WDM systems. In order to improve network efficiency and decrease network cost, the different network model should be connected for each other, so, how to realize the connection of the different network model is the hotspot of the research work on optical network. The recent development in WDM technology has led to a significant increase in the available transmission capacity in wide area networks. These networks are no longer limited by transmission bandwidth, but rather by the processing capability of electronic switches, routers, and multiplexers in the network. The hybrid connection methods have four types with Generalized Multiprotocol Label Switching (GMPLS) signaling. Simulation to the hybrid model is also studied. The results indicate the novel scheme is an effective method.
