摘要：恩斯特·卡西尔是德国著名的文化哲学家和思想史家。卡西尔把康德理性批判的范围拓展到文化的批判,形成了他的符号形式哲学或文化哲学,历史学就是其中一个重要的组成部分。从文化哲学或符号形式哲学出发,卡西尔对历史学的研究对象、历史学的研究方法、历史学与自然科学的相互关系、历史学在人类文化有机体中的地位和作用,作出了新的思考。受胡塞尔现象学和海德格尔存在论哲学的影响,卡西尔从人类思想和文化形成的内在动力、方向和功能统一解读人类精神文化发展的趋势和成果,这使得他的历史哲学和思想史写作具有鲜明的生存论视域。
Ernst Cassirer is a famous German cultural philosopher and intellectual historian.Cassirer extended the scope of Kant’s rational criticism to cultural criticism,forming his symbolic form philosophy or cultural philosophy,of which history is an important component.Starting from cultural philosophy or symbolic form philosophy,Cassirer has made new reflections on the research objects,methods,interrelationships between history and natural sciences,and the position and role of history in the human cultural organism.Influenced by Husserl’s phenomenology and Heidegger’s ontological philosophy,Cassirer interprets the trends and achievements of human spiritual and cultural development from the perspective of the internal driving force,direction,and function of human thought and cultural formation.This gives his writing of historical philosophy and intellectual history a distinct existential perspective.
